French American mezzo soprano Sarah Scofield is a resident artist with Utah Opera. She is a recent winner of the Utah District of the Metropolitan Opera’s Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition. This season she will perform the roles of Der Sandman in Hänsel und Gretel and Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly. She joins Utah Symphony this November in a performance of Handel’s Messiah.
